State Election Coverage This week begins a five-week series of special coverage about the nine candidates running to represent New Canaan in the Connecticut state legislature in Hartford. There are two candidates in each of the following races, all of which include New Canaan: State Assembly 125th District, State Assembly 142nd District and State Senate 26th District. There are three candidates in the fourth race, the State Senate 36th District. This year each race includes an incumbent Republican and a challenging Democrat.
